Hear Ye, Hear Ye.....The New Port Richey Library and Richey Suncoast Theatre are proud to present Shakespeare by the River, a free outdoor event for all ages and the only one of its kind on
Florida’s west coast. This exciting festival offers interactive, educational fun for all ages. You will experience live performances of Shakespeare’s plays, historic swordfight re-enactments, Crusader costumes, a Renaissance fashion show, comedic skits, interesting lectures, and more. The Homosassa Wildlife Live Birds of Prey will also be there plus live music and a window art contest. All of these events are free and take place at

Park, Peace Hall, New Port Richey Library and the Richey Suncoast Theatre, February 16, 17 and 18. So, don’t be an artless, tardy-gaited joithead – Get thee to the park instead, and talk like a Shakespearian!

Rain Plan: If it rains all park events will be held at the Richey Suncoast Theatre. Seating is limited to 299 and is accomodated on a first come first served basis.
